Brewed Awakening is a great place to stop in, have a cup of Joe and relax. It’s a cozy coffee house, located in the heart of cutest little town of Metuchen, close to the train station. The atmosphere seemed more locally focused with murals and photographs decorating the walls. They have great service and very spacious too. It is even close by to some local used bookstores, so you can grab a new cheap read and a great cup of coffee and enjoy yourself.
The food and drinks selection are pretty good as well. Personally I am an Americano drinker but their various Columbia and Vietnamese coffee blends are most amazing. They even serve unique two egg omelets and also have a great selection of unique desserts.
I absolutely enjoyed my brunch there and will definitely go out of my way to go there again.
